Accountability Financial accountability is important to ensure integrity as a ministry. We have developed a set of principles to guide us in the use of resources God has provided. Financial Principles 1.) All contributions received, regardless of amount, are considered sacred to the ministry to which God has called us. We commit to seek prayerfully ways that we can use all funds given by donors to make the greatest impact for God's Kingdom. 2.) Freedom Village will provide a tax receipt in accordance with all rules set forth by the IRS. 3.) Freedom Village will maintain the confidentiality and integrity of our donors. 4.) All executive salaries are set by our Board Members at an annual meeting. 5.) All contributions received for a designated purpose will be accounted for in a way that ensures they are used for their intended purpose. When funds exceed the needs of a specific project, Freedom Village will allocate funds to an equally important project that carries out our charitable purpose. 6.) Freedom Village does not receive any government funds or grants that keep us from carrying out the mission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 7.) Freedom Village adheres to generally accepted accounting principles to maintain financial accountability.
